For more than a week, the first technical beta testing Overwatch 2 has been going on, and the team of developers from Blizzard Entertainment decided to thank all players for feedback and share further plans for the development of the game.
First of all, she announced that some functions and elements, like menu, screens, new and updated types of heroes along with the gold weapon system, are still in work. According to the developers, they still have to properly polish the game and make various improvements in the form of improved UI and correction of bugs. In addition, before the release of the game, Blizzard plans to add even more content to Beta, including new heroes, cards and functions.
Fans of the game definitely noticed the lack of a rating mode in Beta. In its message, a team of developers explains this by the fact that it is not due to significant processing of the main systems of rating and competitive modes, which are not yet ready for public testing.
The developers also noted the problems of the protection that players on the support heroes met after the second tank was removed. Despite the fact that they increased their health recovery in Bete and increased survivability, this was not enough to deliver the pleasure of fans of this class. Therefore, the team decided in the future to add new and updated abilities for some support heroes and new interesting characters for this role.
More attention was paid to the new scoreboard that provides players with the statistics of the heroes of both teams, including murders, assistants, death, damage and the state of ultimately among the Allies. The developers told what other changes plan to make in the future based on players' reviews.
